The CPF (Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis) http://www.coalitionforpf.org/ is proud to announce that a new support group has been established in Sterling Heights, Michigan in partnership with St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital.  The Living With IPF Support Group will host its first meeting on October 9, 2007 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM in Sterling Heights, MI (near Detroit).

The group is open to patients, their families, caregivers, and anyone interested in sharing and learning about interstitial lung diseases, including pulmonary fibrosis and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.  The focus of this support group is to provide patients and their loved ones with essential educational resources and support, while providing an opportunity to network and share experiences with other patients living with interstitial lung diseases.
